What is AWANA?

Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him.  Clubbers participate in Bible based activities with an emphasis on scripture memorization as well as playing games.

What group should my child be registered for?
  • Cubbies (Pre-K) (If your child is going to be a Cubbie, we require a parent or other individual to volunteer)
  • Sparks (K-2nd)
  • Truth in Training (3rd-6th)
What do I need to pay for?

Should you decide to have your child(ren) continue in the AWANA program beyond the initial entrance booklet the annual fee per child is $30.  The fee covers costs for the uniform, one handbook and other program materials.

What are the uniforms like?

Cubbies (pre-K) has a blue vest, Sparks (K-2) has a red vest, and Truth in Training (3-6) has a green shirt.

Are scholarships available for my child?

There is a limited amount of scholarship funds available for those who need financial assistance to participate. To request a scholarship indicate the need by checking the box on the registration form or contact the commander directly.

What is the day and time of the AWANA meetings?

AWANA club meets from 6-7:30pm on Wednesday evenings at the Boardman First Baptist Church.

Nightly registration opens at 5:45pm.  Please do not drop children off early.
