King’s Garden Church believes that women and children have every right to feel like being in church is one of the safest places they can be.
Unfortunately, this has not been the case in many churches. Many women (especially) are survivors of what we call a toxic church environment.
Oftentimes, churches have covered up abuse from church leaders and pastors, or try to minimize the damage that misconduct on a leaders part does to the victim.
We do not take that approach as a church. No woman or child should feel unsafe in the place that should be the safest environment on earth!
We have adopted policies to indicate how we will approach misconduct if we discover it in our community.
We will continue to work and study ways to insure that we are a church body where you are able to worship and serve without anxiety or fear.
